A red button with the text "RESERVE A BOOTH."

Motorsports professionals, including buyers and decision makers, from all 50 states and 35-plus countries come to the PRI Show to source new parts and products.

How to Navigate the New Portal for PRI Show Exhibitors

The process to submit an exhibit application is a little different this year.

PRI has launched a new customer management system powered by Salesforce to better serve its exhibitors year-round.

Those who have not submitted the Exhibit Space Rental Application (ESRA) for the 2026 event, Dec. 10-12, Indianapolis, must activate a new account in the system.

Once this one-time step is complete, exhibitors can secure their spot on the PRI Show floor, download invoices, complete online payments, and access free resources to plan a successful booth.

Getting set up in the new PRI Show exhibitor platform is simple:

  • Visit exhibitor.performanceracing.com.
  • Returning exhibitors: Enter the email last used to purchase a PRI Show booth. A "password reset link" will be sent to your inbox. Click that link and create a new password.
  • New exhibitors or returning exhibitors using a new email: Click "New Exhibitor," and fill out the form to create a new account.

Note: Updating an account email address does not affect exhibitors' account history or PRI Show seniority.

The Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), the global governing body for motorsports and the federation for mobility organizations worldwide, has launched a "call for proposals" to find promoters and organizers of FIA-sanctioned Esports Championships.

As one of the most accessible and affordable forms of competition, Esports will play a major role in the FIA’s plan to increase global motorsports participation and create new pathways into motorsports.

The call for proposals aims to identify suitable partners with whom the FIA can work on the continued development of its Esports strategy.

Proposals are expected to outline potential Esports Championship concepts, including:

  • overall format.
  • venues and locations for on-site finals.
  • geographical scope.
  • a commercial strategy that ensures long-term financial stability for Esports.

Sim racing is experiencing a massive growth in popularity, attracting not only casual gamers and motorsports enthusiasts but also professional racing drivers such as Max Verstappen and Esports competitors from all over the world.

The FIA MENA Esports Championship in 2025 generated 111 million views, and more than 6,000 drivers from 159 countries have already registered to take part in the first FIA Esports Global Rally Tour in May, with finalists competing live on stage at this year's FIA Awards in Shanghai in December.

The FIA's Esports strategy has the potential to unlock significant commercial opportunities while opening access to motorsports competition.

"Esports represents one of the most accessible and rapidly growing forms of competition, creating new pathways for people around the world to engage with [motorsports]. This call for proposal[s] marks an important milestone in the development of the FIA's Esports strategy as we identify opportunities that will support sustainable growth and attract new audiences and competitors," said H.E. Mohammed Ben Sulayem, president of the FIA.

"The launch of this public call for proposal marks an important step in identifying experienced organizers and promoters capable of delivering FIA Esports Championships that meet the highest standards of excellence, integrity, innovation, and audience engagement," FIA Esports Commission President Niroshan Pereira said. "Through this initiative, we aim to establish a transparent and ambitious framework that will support the sustainable growth of competitive Esports under the FIA umbrella while fostering collaboration across the wider Esports ecosystem.”

SCCA Streamlines Medical Requirements for Road Racing Licenses

Submitted by laurap on Tue, 06/16/2026 - 15:36
SCCA logo.

Officials with the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) have announced an update for Road Racing competitors.

Road Racing drivers have needed a medical evaluation conducted by a doctor to obtain (or maintain) an SCCA Road Racing Novice or Full Competition License, but starting in July 1, the SCCA will be moving to a system that will allow many wheel-to-wheel racers within the Club to complete and submit a Declaration of Medical Fitness, thus eliminating a trip to the doctor.

The shift in the SCCA Road Racing medical form procedure was approved by the SCCA Board of Directors in December 2025, with details and procedures being developed during the first half of the year.

"The Declaration of Medical Fitness form streamlines the road racing licensing process, allowing more people to go racing while maintaining a level of safety that aligns with the needs of our members and the Club, and also brings SCCA's licensing process in line with other amateur racing sanctioning bodies," said Eric Prill, SCCA's vice president of Road Racing.

Drivers who are not minors and are under the age of 60 will be able to submit a Declaration of Medical Fitness form to the SCCA, with that process taking place completely online. The form will be integrated into a new license purchase in the online store, during the online renewal process, and will be available from a driver's profile page by logging into their my.scca.com account. The form will be required to be submitted annually, the SCCA says.

Those ages 60 to 69 will be required to complete the new annual Declaration of Medical Fitness form each year and then have a doctor-approved Physician Evaluation form completed every two years. For ages 70 and older, both forms will be required each year. These timelines remain unchanged from the current physician evaluation process.

Minors are not eligible to submit a Declaration of Medical Fitness form. Instead, they will continue to need a physician to complete a Physician Evaluation form, which will be good for five years.

The definition of a "minor" varies state by state, so this process will differ depending on the residence of the minor. That residence is based on the person’s address registered with the SCCA.

Among other items, the Declaration of Medical Fitness form has racers certify that they:

  • Can rapidly operate acceleration, braking, and steering mechanisms/systems.
  • Have a distance vision that is correctable to 20/40 in each eye and can distinguish between certain colors.
  • Should have minimal chance of sudden incapacitation.
  • Have the ability for rapid mental activity, problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Have the ability to maintain an aerobic level heart rate for more than 20 minutes.
