Motorsports icon and NASCAR Hall of Famer Ray Evernham announced today his acquisition of JRi Shocks, effective immediately. JRi Shocks Founder Jeff Ryan will continue to play a leading role in the organization as a partner and Vice President of Engineering.

“Since retiring from the competition side of NASCAR, I have been itching to find an opportunity to continue using my experience in business and engineering, so when JRi was presented to me it was a natural fit,” CEO and President of JRi Shocks Evernham said. “I have worked with Jeff Ryan for more than 30 years and have always known he was one of the most innovative shock designers in the motorsports industry, but what really drew me to JRi is the work Jeff and his team are doing outside of racing.

“From street performance to off-road, they are creating some of the most functional, highest quality shocks on the market. I am really looking forward to working with Jeff to take JRi to the next level.”

Evernham will be heavily involved in all areas of the business, including marketing and sales strategy, new product design and operations. Under the new ownership, JRi will focus on better serving their existing customers, expanding their product offerings in current markets and continuing to gain market share in the aftermarket shock industry.

JRi Shocks’ new headquarters will be located at 115 Eastbend Court, Mooresville, North Carolina 28117. For more information, visit jrishocks.com.

Dynabrade, Inc has introduced its New Dynorbital Extreme Series of Random Orbital Sanders. The Extreme Random Orbital Sander is an American-made Air Tool delivering a high-horsepower rating. Available in 5” and 6” diameter models, the tool is available in Non-Vacuum and Central Vacuum models. A 3/16” diameter orbit is offered for general sanding applications. A 3/32” diameter orbit is also available for ultra-fine sanding. The Dynorbital Extreme Random Orbital Sander features an ergonomic design with a tactile soft grip overmold for a comfortable feel. The 12,000 RPM motor features an improved rotor design for enhanced power. The unique motor V Seal protects bearings from contaminates while maintaining lubrication and reducing bearing temperature; resulting in longer tool life. A full range throttle is featherable with no speed regulator eliminating accidental adjustment and loss in RPM. A full line of abrasives, replacement sanding pads and various accessories are available to keep the tool in peak performance. No-obligation demonstrations are available on this sander or any tool from Dynabrade.

SG330

Serdi offers its SG330, a machine designed to mill and grind cylinder head planes and small engine blocks in aluminum or cast-iron. The swinging head covers most of four- to six-cylinder car engines. Coolant system with electric pump and settling tank available.

8.1 Liter BBC Block

World Products has introduced a new stock-replacement type block for the 8.1 liter big block engine. The 8.1 was widely used in marine, truck, motor home and industrial applications, and until now direct replacement blocks have not been available from the aftermarket. World's new block is designed to simplify use in typical applications, featuring stock style oil filter and oil cooler provisions to eliminate the need for modifying these systems. A stock crank sensor position is utilized, and stock style accessory mounting provisions, motor mounts and other fitments are all designed for direct replacement installations. Full water jackets between the cylinders of the standard 2.245" bore ensure proper cooling capacity, and bore sizes of 4.495 and 4.595 are available with siamese bores. The block is compatible with stock cylinder heads and other components.

Engine Optimizer

XL Nanolube’s Engine Optimizer is formulated to transform any engine oil into a super nano lubricant for all gas and diesel engines. This lubricant additive prevents engine oil from burning and carbonizing inside your engine. It creates a permanent nano film coating around all moving parts of the engine and thus eliminating dry start.

Manual Rod Bender

Huth Ben Pearson International has introduced a new manual rod bender for a quick and easy solution to bending rods and flat stock brackets. The rod and bracket bender is lightweight and easy to use, and it can bend up to ¼-inch by one-inch flat stock, and bend rods up to 3/8 inch.

40mm & 50 mm Pressure Gauges

When space is limited, Ashcroft 1008S 40mm (1.5”) and 50mm (2”) diameter pressure gauges provide the quality and performance of a larger gauge, but in a smaller diameter. A NEMA 4/IP66 ingress rating and a stainless steel case allow the 1008S to be used outdoors or in harsh environments. Liquid fill or the patented Flutter Guard movement enhancement protect the gauge and make it easier to read in high-vibration installations. Available in ranges up to 20,000 psi, the rugged 1008S stands up to a variety of tough applications where lesser quality gauges may fail.
