Jason Wehrli, owner of DeKalb, Illinois-based Wehrli Custom Fabrication, Machining, Powder Coat, and Big Hitch Products, has announced the acquisition of Calibrated Power Solutions of Woodstock, Illinois, the supplier of aftermarket turbocharger upgrades and performance tuning solutions for diesel pickup trucks.

Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Wehrli Custom Fabrication and Calibrated Power Solutions will continue to operate as independent organizations.

The Calibrated Power team delivers top-notch tuning, which is rare in today's market," said Wehrli, president and CEO of Wehrli Custom Fabrication. We've consistently seen outstanding results from their Stealth Series Turbocharger line on both our own shop vehicles and customer builds. Nick Priegnitz, founder of Calibrated Power Solutions (home of Duramaxtuner), will continue to oversee the company in a technical product development role, ensuring leadership continuity and guiding customer, employee, and partner transitions. He will also continue to lead industry-first initiatives, including the recently introduced 2024+ L5P Duramax and 2023+ 6.7L Ford Power Stroke performance tuning and turbocharger solutions, as well as legacy products such as the groundbreaking 70mm Drop-In Stealth Mach 3 turbo for the '03–'07 5.9L Cummins.

Two 20-minute vintage Trans Am races are joining the action-packed slate of on-track activity during the 2026 Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach, event organizers announced, supplementing the headlining NTT INDYCAR SERIES and IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Series events.

Featuring historic vehicles from the 1970s through 1991, the vintage vehicles will take over the Southern California street circuit on Saturday, April 18, and Sunday, April 19, with practice and qualifying on Friday, April 17.

The second generation of Trans-Am featured high-horsepower cars from marques like AMC, Audi, Chevrolet, Ford, Jaguar, Mercury, Oldsmobile, Pontiac, Porsche and more with a list of well-known drivers that included Tommy Kendall, Scott Pruett, Robby Gordon, Wally Dallenbach Jr., Greg Pickett, David Hobbs and Lyn St. James, along with many others.

Among the cars expected in the Historic Trans Am field are Hobbs' Chevrolet Camaro, as well the Ford Mustang driven by St. James and Gordon and the Mercury Capri driven by Dallenbach.

The historic event at Long Beach will be sanctioned by the Historic Motor Sports Association (HMSA).

The Internet Brands (IB) Auto Classifieds group has announced the addition of race industry veteran Tyler West to its Business Development team.

IB Classifieds, led by flagship site RacingJunk.com, specializes in online marketplaces for the professional and grassroots racing communities, as well as for performance needs, hot rods, classics and antique vehicles and parts. West brings decades of experience in track management and corporate partnerships to the group.

Following a driving career in bracket racing, West later worked as director of Corporate Partnerships at Memphis International Raceway. He later served as dragstrip operations manager at the former Palm Beach International Raceway, general manager of Amarillo Dragway, and, most recently, general manager of his home track, Mo-Kan Dragway in Jasper County, Missouri.

"Tyler brings with him intimate knowledge of racing, both behind the wheel, behind the scenes and as a decision maker. He knows our audience from every perspective," said Scott Stetz, Director of Sales and Business Development for the Auto Classifieds Group. "We're excited to have him on board, forging and strengthening these connections."

The position opened following the loss of Robert "Bobby" Chalmers this summer to pancreatic cancer. Chalmers was a beloved figure in the race industry and had been leading business development efforts for the Auto Classifieds Group before his passing.

"I knew Bobby, as did many of us in this industry, and his loss is difficult for everyone," West said. "I'm excited to begin this next chapter in my career, and to continue the work he was doing as someone so passionate about the race industry. I look forward to utilizing my experience in race track operations and passion for motorsports to help expand the RacingJunk brand."
