Officials from the North Carolina Motorsports Association (NCMA) has released details for its 14th annual NC Motorsports Industry Award Ceremony presented by Fifth Third Bank.

The event—set for January 28 at Embassy Suites Concord Convention Center Ballroom in Concord, North Carolina—will honor the life and career of renowned engine builder and NASCAR Cup championship car owner Robert Yates. Yates will be posthumously awarded the Achievement in Motorsports Tribute Award, and the Yates family will be on hand to accept the award.

Performance Racing Network's Doug Rice will be presented with the Jim Hunter Memorial Media Award. 

In addition, the event will also honor additional companies and entities that had a positive impact on motorsports.
