Officials from Tommy Baldwin Racing have confirmed the team will return to the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series next year.
The team plans to enter the season-opening Daytona 500 at Daytona Int’l Speedway along with additional events throughout the season that will be determined at a later date.
“We are looking forward to get back going again with TBR in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series,” Team Owner Tommy Baldwin Jr. said. “Our goal is to work methodically and build it one piece at a time. I’m excited about these five to seven races for the 2019 season, and where it takes us in the future.”
Tommy Baldwin Racing was originally formed in 2009 and ran a full-time schedule in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series for several seasons before closing down in 2017.

Those who have driven for Tommy Baldwin Racing include Blaney, Smith, J.J. Yeley, Elliott Sadler, Justin Marks, David Reutimann, Hermie Sadler, Bobby Labonte, Alex Bowman, Reed Sorenson, Joey Gase, Michael Annett, Geoffrey Bodine, Michael McDowell, Patrick Carpentier, Robert Richardson Jr., Scott Riggs, Mike Skinner, Mike Bliss, Ron Fellows, Casey Mears, Steve Park, Johnny Sauter, Stephen Leicht, Tomy Drissi, Danica Patrick, Tony Raines, Victor Gonzalez Jr. and Ty Dillon.
