Saudi Automobile & Motorcycle Federation (SAMF) has launched the Saudi Motorsport Company, a commercial entity that will promote race events in Saudi Arabia. 

The first of its kind in the kingdom, Saudi Motorsport Company will also aim to “improve operations, optimize spending, and generate commercial revenues across the international motorsports calendar.”

The announcement comes ahead of the inaugural Formula 1 STC Saudi Arabian Grand Prix set for December 3–5 and follows other major motorsports events including the Formula E Diriyah ePrix (since 2018), the Dakar Rally (since 2020), and the Extreme E series’ Desert X Prix (April 3–4, 2021). These races align with the Saudia Arabia campaign called “Vision 2030,” designed to expand the kingdom’s business interests.
