Wiseco Names New Automotive Product Manager

Wiseco Performance Products has hired industry veteran Chris Whitworth as the organization’s automotive product manager.
Whitworth arrives at Wiseco and its parent company Race Winning Brands (RWB) with over a dozen years of automotive industry experience following stops at Raybestos Powertrain, Transtar Industries, Accel Performance Group and Wellman Products Group.
Whitworth will focus his efforts on managing the development of the Wiseco Automotive and K1 Technologies automotive product lines while working alongside both division’s product development, supply chain and quality teams to ensure new products are developed to specification and delivered on-time.
With a coast-to-coast domestic distribution system and international customers in Europe, South America, Africa, Australia and Asia, Wiseco is one of the leaders in manufacturing high performance, forged pistons for the automotive performance market and many more markets including motorcycle, ATV, snowmobile, personal watercraft, and outboard marine. K1 Technologies produces high-quality race connecting rods and crankshafts.
Whitworth, a graduate of Kent State University, lives in Mentor with his wife Liz and sons Oliver and Owen and begins his new role effective immediately. In his spare time, he enjoys working on his project 1994 Corvette. Before converting the Corvette back to a street car, Whitworth raced autocross events and shook down his six-speed, ZZ LT1 crate-motor powered machine at lapping days at road courses across Ohio.
