Michigan Motor Sports HoF Announces 2018 Inductees

The Michigan Motor Sports Hall of Fame (MMSHoF) board has announced the initial list of the 2018 inductees into the Hall of Fame after officials tallied ballots on June 6, 2018.

The following will be inducted into the MMSHoF Class of 2018: oval track racer Traft Abbott, Sr.; NASCAR driver Johnny Benson, Jr.; sprint car racer Jason Blonde; the late oval track driver and chassis builder Sam Faur; Eastern Michigan oval track driver Larry LaMay; scorer extraordinaire Sue Lincoln; drag racers Ron Mancini and the late John Gerald Skiba; world-renowned sports car owners Pratt & Miller; and snowmobile racer Larry Tiede.

The group of inductees will be honored during the 2018 banquet set for Sunday afternoon on November 4, 2018, at the Comfort Inn and Suites in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. Tickets to the event are $35 each and must be purchased by mail (MMSHoF, 28047 Maple Forest Blvd E, Harrison Township, MI 48045).
