The National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) announced its 2018 Mello Yello Drag Racing Series schedule, which will once again feature 24 races from coast-to-coast, all broadcasted exclusively on FOX Sports and the FOX national network.

As is tradition, the season will again begin and end at the Auto Club Dragway in Pomona, California. The NHRA Winternationals will take place in Pomona February 8—11 while the Auto Club NHRA Finals will take place November 8—11.

The annual Route 66 Nationals in Joliet, Illinois, which currently takes place in early July, has shifted up in the schedule to the weekend of May 31—June 3. Likewise, the New England Nationals in Epping, New Hampshire, will take the place of Chicago event on July 6—8. The Englishtown, Bristol and Norwalk events will maintain their place on the schedule before the series shifts to Epping and then on to the traditional Western Swing races in Denver, Seattle and Sonoma, California.

The Countdown to the Championship will again comprise six races: Charlotte, Reading (Pennsylvania), St. Louis, Dallas, Las Vegas and Pomona.
