NHRA returns to competition May 22-23, at Texas Motorplex with the running of an NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series Central Region event.

The Keurig Dr. Pepper Lone Star Nationals presented by Driven Automotive Protection will feature the Top Alcohol Dragsters and Top Alcohol Funny Cars of the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing season and will be the first NHRA points-earning event since the racing season was halted in mid-March.

The event also will decide the final entrants for the annual JEGS Allstars competition to be held later this year. Two drivers from each of the two classes will qualify for the Allstars event.

The Summit Racing Equipment Mid West Pro Mod Association is also set to showcase Pro Mods, Top Sportsman, Top Dragster, and Jr. Dragster competing for MWPM points.

The event will be streamed on NHRA.tv, and on a Pay Per View stream on TheFoat Ticketing.
