Due to high demand, the NASCAR Technical Institute in Mooresville, North Carolina, has opened additional spaces to its free summer program for high school juniors. Students interested in high-tech careers as automotive and diesel technicians may register for the Ignite program by May 23.

The NASCAR Technical Institute is one of 12 Universal Technical Institute (UTI) campuses across the nation.

Participants of the North Carolina program set for June 10–28, 2019, will receive hands-on training along with the opportunity to earn credits toward a UTI program.
