Sarah Fisher O'Gara Named Honorary Chair of WIMNA Women With Drive VI Summit
Women in Motorsports North America (WIMNA) has named racing team owner and former INDYCAR driver Sarah Fisher O'Gara as the honorary chair of its Women With Drive VI Summit, which is annually held during the lead-up to the PRI Show in Indianapolis.
"A trailblazer both on and off the track, Sarah made history as one of the most recognized female drivers in the NTT INDYCAR Series and went on to break new ground as a team owner and business leader," WIMNA leaders said. "Today, as co-owner of Sarah Fisher Hartman Racing, she continues to shape the sport through innovation, leadership and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Her journey—from driver to entrepreneur—embodies the very spirit of Women with Drive: evolving, leading and opening doors for others along the way."
“Women With Drive is an event that has the ability to connect so many great individuals in the racing community," Fisher O'Gara said. "When asked to step into this role, I was excited about the potential to see and scale the hands-on visibility of our talented members.”
Fisher O'Gara replaces Allison Melangton, an executive at Penske Entertainment who has served as honorary chair for the past two years.
"Allison’s impact on Women with Drive—and the industry as a whole—has been nothing short of extraordinary," WIMNA representatives said. "From her leadership at Penske Entertainment to her deep roots in the Indianapolis community, she has helped elevate the Summit’s voice, reach and relevance. Her passion, presence and belief in the power of this community have left a lasting mark, and we are incredibly grateful for her continued support and advocacy."
“Allison helped take Women with Drive to the next level—her leadership, energy, and commitment to this community have been instrumental in shaping what the Summit has become today,” said Cindy Sisson, executive director of WIMNA. “We’re equally excited to welcome Sarah as honorary chair. She brings a unique perspective from every side of the sport, and her passion for growing the next generation makes her the perfect person to help lead us forward.”
The Women With Drive VI Summit is scheduled for December 7-9 in Indianapolis ahead of the 2026 PRI Show. Registration for the Women With Drive VI Summit opens in June.
The 2026 PRI Show will be held in downtown Indianapolis December 10-12.
