Turn 14 Distribution-sponsored Daijiro “Dai” Yoshihara has entered the TC America competition with the Florida-based Victor Gonzalez Racing Team (VGRT). 

The TC America powered by Skip Barber championship comprises three competition classes—TCX, TC, and TCA. All categories utilize factory-built or supported turnkey race cars, with TCX supporting the BMW M2 CS Racing platform and other full-fledged, homologated race cars.

Yoshihara, who will field a Honda FK8 Civic Type R TCR race car built by JAS Motorsport in the TXC category, is among two other drivers in the VGRT TC America entry list: Ruben Iglesias Jr. in TCA and Michael Hurczyn in TC. 

Turn 14’s automotive media brand Pit+Paddock signed Yoshihara to its athlete management portfolio last May. Since, he has built three cars for SEMA (including a pre-runner-style Nissan Frontier, an R33 GT-R, and a 2023 Acura Integra), secured the title of fastest EV at the 100th Running of Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, and launched the nationwide Ride with Dai Experience to give fans a ride in his Formula DRIFT Pro class BRZ. He is also an official ambassador for Turn 14 Distribution, ENEOS, and Yokohama Tire.
