Updated Rules, Staff Additions For POWRi WAR Sprints

Along with new staff appointments, POWRi Lucas Oil WAR Sprints officials have announced an updated rules package for 2019.
"We are constantly looking at ways to improve our league from the financial aspect of our teams to the product we are putting on the track," WAR League Director Casey Shuman said. "That being said, we have made a few tweaks to our weight rule, left rear tire rule, and lineup procedures."

Wayne Priddy will assume the role of race director for the POWRi Lucas Oil WAR Sprint League in 2019. Wayne brings a great deal of knowledge and experience to the position, as someone who has been involved with sprint car racing in numerous capacities over the last 15+ years.
In addition, Allen and Cassy Staley will join the WAR Sprints staff, with Allen taking over announcing duties and his wife, Cassy, in charge of scoring. Allen and Cassy have previous experience working with the ASCS Warrior Region.
The 2019 POWRi Lucas Oil WAR Sprint League season opener is set for Friday, March 29 at US-36 Raceway in Osborn, Missouri. For more information, visit the POWRi website.
