Kirk Moore Named President & CEO Of TW Metals

O’Neal Industries (ONI) has announced the appointment of Kirk Moore as president and CEO of TW Metals (TW), a full-line specialty metals distributor and ONI affiliate, effective April 1, 2017.
“Kirk is an excellent leader, and we are thrilled about the opportunities ahead and the successes that will follow at TW,” said Holman Head, ONI president and COO. “The ONI Leadership Team has the utmost confidence in his ability to build on the solid foundation established by Jack Elrod.”
Current TW Metals president and CEO Jack Elrod will retire at the end of March after serving more than 15 years in his position, and will assume an advisory role within the company.
“We are pleased that Jack will remain with TW in an advisory role,” said Head. “His knowledge and exceptional leadership drove TW to become one of the most profitable companies and strongest teams in the industry.”
Moore joined TW in 2002, assuming the role of vice president, finance and chief financial officer in 2003. As a key member of the TW Leadership Team, Moore has contributed significantly to strategic initiatives and led the annual business process for sales, operations and supply chain. He is a member of TW’s Pricing Council and Supply Chain Council, and he participates in the business reviews of all of the TW branches, special business units and the European Region.
Elrod, a graduate of the University of North Georgia, earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration. With more than 30 years of senior executive experience in distribution and geographically dispersed service businesses, Elrod has held numerous leadership roles throughout the country.
