Harmonic Balancers Meet SFI Standards 

Dayco offers a full line of harmonic balancers for everyday driving and street use, but for heavily modified vehicles, Dayco PowerBond Race series balancers are designed to meet or exceed rigorous SFI standards. Each balancer is zero-balanced to accommodate precise engine builds where every component is custom-machined for performance. Tested beyond 21,000 RPM, the Dayco Race series balancer features a precision CNC-machined AISI 1045 forged steel hub bonded to a forged steel inertia ring. Laser-etched timing marks make adjustments fast and accurate, while the all-steel design delivers lightweight strength for rapid acceleration.

Supercharger Belts Prevent Slip

When pushing boost through a centrifugal or roots-style supercharger, superior grip means everything. That's why Dayco Supercharger belts are built from high-friction, aramid fiber--reinforced EPDM rubber -- it eliminates belt stretch and reduces slip under high boost conditions. Developed with testing from top Drag Pak racers, this belt line has almost a dozen part numbers that cover 150,000-plus VIO, including the Corvette ZR1, Camaro ZL1 and Dodge Demon/Hellcat/Redeye.

Blower Belts for White Knuckle Racing 

Engineered to provide maximum performance under the most grueling race conditions, Dayco offers two blower belts for different types of engines and fuels. These belts have helped power some of the fastest drivers in racing--including Doug Kalitta and Matt Hagan.   

11mm: Designed to withstand some of the highest engine loads, the 11-mm belt features a hybrid carbon cord wrapped in a proprietary rubber compound with a low-friction PTFE tooth fabric for extreme load durability. Used for Top Fuel, Funny Car and Nitro engines, this standard 11-mm pitch belt has 145 teeth and comes in both 84mm and 97mm widths. 

8mm: Engineered for Pro Mod and Top Alcohol drag applications, the 8-mm belt comes in 50-, 75- and 84-mm widths. A Teflon-coated tooth profile and carbon-cord construction deliver exceptional strength and reliability for both street and strip. 

Electric Water Pumps Add Cooling Power

Compact and self-contained, Dayco offers electric water pumps that can be mounted anywhere in the engine bay, making them the perfect add on for custom builds or situations where there are tight clearances in the engine compartment. Some drivers gut the thermostat so the electric water pump can still run with the engine off. This helps keep the car cool and is beneficial during high-performance driving and between rounds, where a mechanical pump's flow rate is directly tied to engine speed. Dayco's ISO-certified electric water pumps are designed to help maintain systems that improve fuel economy and increase engine response and engine-off cooling.
