Global Media Awards Winners Recognized At PRI 2019

A host of innovative motorsports products—from intake manifolds and composite connecting rods to gauge panels and head-and-neck restraints—were honored for their global appeal during the 32nd annual Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Trade Show in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Now in its second year, PRI’s Global Media Awards program recognizes trade show exhibitors’ products for their likely interest by a worldwide motorsports audience, as determined by an esteemed panel of racing and performance journalists from around the world. Winners were selected from hundreds of entrants in the Trade Show’s Featured Products Showcase, which highlights new and bestselling parts, equipment and technology by top manufacturers and service providers.
Award recipients were formally honored on Friday, December 13—day two of the three-day Trade Show—during PRI’s International Reception at the Indiana Convention Center.
“The Global Media Awards are an important extension of the PRI Show, where motorsports professionals from all 50 states and all over the world gather to conduct business,” said Karin Davidson, PRI Trade Show director. “It’s an invaluable opportunity for the winners, especially, to gain exposure to key international markets.”
Journalists representing motorsports publications from Argentina, Australia, Brazil, India, Mexico, Peru and the UK took part in the judging for this year’s program. In addition to recognition on-site at the PRI Show, winning products receive added exposure in PRI Magazine, and on PRI’s website and social networks, as well as on the pages of magazines and websites in overseas markets.
The PRI Trade Show serves as the premier platform for motorsports professionals from all over the world to discover new racing products, trends and innovations. With over 1,100 exhibitors and 65,000-plus attendees, industry professionals from around the world consider the PRI Show a can’t-miss event on the racing calendar.
