Lyle DeVore, the track promoter at Albany-Saratoga Speedway in Malta, New York, has passed away after a battle with cancer, the track confirmed.

DeVore began his motorsports career at Albany-Saratoga Speedway and spent the past 14 years as the track's manager and promoter.

He was recognized for his efforts as Racing Promotion Monthly Auto Racing Promoter of the Year in 2020 and 2022, and was inducted as a member of the Northeast Dirt Modified Hall of Fame in Weedsport, New York, in 2024.
