VP Named Official Fuel Supplier For Indy Lights

Andersen Promotions announced that VP Racing Fuels will be the exclusive fuel supplier for Indy Lights Presented by Cooper Tires beginning in 2015. The four-year alliance will see VP’s support expand to the Pro Mazda Championship Presented by Cooper Tires and Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda in 2016.
VP, which recently announced a five-year partnership as the Official Fuel Supplier of Pirelli World Challenge, will supply all competitors with its Motorsport 100 (MS100) fuel—an unleaded gasoline blended with 10 percent ethanol that remains consistent from race to race. The San Antonio, Texas-based company will also support the series through numerous marketing initiatives.
“We’re pleased to be returning to a partnership with VP who supported our start within the Mazda Road to Indy in 2010 with strong service and great products,” said Dan Andersen, Owner and CEO of Andersen Promotions. “Their quality and purity of fuel is outstanding, and we know our teams will find them a delight to work with beginning with our upcoming test next month. VP continues to expand its involvement in professional racing, and we are proud to be partnering with them once again.”

The first series test of the new Dallara IL-15 will take place on December 16–17 at Palm Beach International Raceway in Jupiter, Fla. The expanded 16-race 2015 schedule will kick off on the streets of St. Petersburg, Fla., on March 28–29 in support of the Verizon IndyCar Series.
