Westech Performance, the tuning and dynamometer testing facility in Jurupa Valley, California, will continue operations under the new ownership of Evan Perkins. A former HOT ROD Magazine editor, Perkins brings extensive experience in editorial, marketing and manufacturing, paired with a lifelong passion for performance engines.

"Westech is a truly special place, and when the opportunity to keep it going presented itself, I knew what I had to do," said Perkins. "I've been a Westech customer for 13 years and have learned so much from Steve Brule, Eric Rhee, Ishmael Candia, and Troy Goldie. I'm also deeply grateful to the previous owner, Rick Stoner, for giving me the chance to carry the business into its next chapter."

Westech Performance provides professional engine and chassis dynamometer testing and tuning services to the public, engine builders and aftermarket manufacturers seeking to test, validate and refine performance components. Under his leadership, the shop will maintain its technical capabilities while expanding its media presence through video and written content, Perkins said.
