The National Corvette Museum’s Motorsports Park is open for business, and already, the park has lined up its first High Performance Driving Event at the end of this month. The event will be held from September 28–29, with four run groups: beginner (green), low intermediate (yellow), high intermediate (blue), and advanced (black). You don’t have to have a Corvette to participate, just a high performance vehicle and a thirst for conquering it.

The High Performance Drive Event includes classroom instruction and on-track experience with an instructor (except solo-rated drivers). The museum will also feature VIP Drivers available to take celebrity drives and lead engaging classroom discussions.

Those who want to tackle the new track but don’t want to participate in the High Performance Drive Event can opt to take the Touring Laps. Touring Laps are also meant for convertible drivers and will be offered in three sessions on September 28.

The two-day High Performance Drive Event is $485 for members of the National Corvette Museum and $525 for nonmembers. The Touring Lap costs $120 for the driver and $25 for a passenger.
