NHRA Appoints New South Central Director

The National Hot Rod Association announced that Paul Bailey has been named NHRA South Central Division Director (Div. 4).

Bailey spent the last 20 years working as a full-time staff member at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park, Englishtown, New Jersey, an NHRA Member Track in Division 1.

During his tenure, he has been responsible for all facets of the facility from starter to tech inspection, and race coordinator to track preparation. Most recently, he was responsible for developing and executing domestic motorsports enthusiast events and was co-drag strip manager.

Bailey begins his new role as Division 4 Director on October 1, working out of the Division 4 office in Conroe, Texas.

NHRA’s South Central Division is responsible for conducting and overseeing drag racing activities in Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas. Currently, there are 11 NHRA Member Tracks in the region including two in Louisiana, one in New Mexico, two in Oklahoma and six in Texas.
