The Utah Salt Flats Racing Association (USFRA) has canceled the World of Speed, a land-speed racing (LSR) event, originally scheduled for September 3–7 at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah.

Organizers cited recent rain and standing water on and near the course, creating unsafe conditions for racers and an inability to safely move trucks and trailers.

Visit saltflats.com for additional updates.

USFRA events are conducted in compliance with Southern California Timing Association (SCTA) rules and regulations. Competition Class records set during the event are certified by SCTA officials on site and recognized as SCTA Competition Class records.
