RACERSHIP has partnered with MNRL and Y0LABS to provide branding, content development and media support tools in an effort help grassroots and emerging racers better showcase their accomplishments and prepare for sponsorship opportunities.

RACERSHIP is the motorsports community platform connecting racers, brands and mentors. MNRL is a brand and media consultancy that helps organizations, and Y0LABS is a venture studio applying real-time game-engine technology across entertainment, athlete performance and live production.

The partnership will develop storytelling, creative and production capability across the RACERSHIP ecosystem.

Professional motorsports teams employ photographers, videographers, social managers and communications staff whose full-time job is making sure the world knows what a driver did on Sunday. Below that tier, where most licensed competitors race, the driver is also the media department, shooting content between sessions and assembling sponsorship decks the night before a meeting.

The result is a sport where competitive results and public visibility can come apart. A racer can win consistently, carry a compelling personal story and reach an engaged local audience, and still lose a sponsorship to someone who presented better.

RACERSHIP has spent its development building against that problem, putting racers, mentors, teams and brands in the same place and giving members the tools and education to prepare for sponsorship conversations. The partnership extends that work into what happens after an introduction is made, and into the first deal, according to the organizations.

"RACERSHIP has always been about access ––making sure a racer's opportunities aren't limited by who they already know," said Heidi Bandisch, founder of RACERSHIP. "We built the network that gets people in the room. What our members tell us is that getting in the room isn't the whole job. You have to explain, quickly and well, why you're worth backing. That's the piece we're building next."

The companies describe this as the first stage of a longer program, with specific products, formats and athlete initiatives announced as they become ready.
