World Wide Technology Raceway, located in Madison, Illinois, has repaved the racing surface of its drag strip.

The St. Louis-area track completed the project in July with guidance from the NHRA and leading motorsports racing surface consultants, track officials said, and used a specialty blend of polymers and aggregate designed to maximize track preparation and withstand the demands of top fuel dragsters and nitro funny cars.
