International Speedway Corp. has created and filled a new communications position. The company has hired Gentry Baumline-Robinson, who until Thursday was communications manager for the Halifax Area Advertising Authority, to serve as manager of corporate communications.
Baumline-Robinson’s responsibilities with ISC include managing corporate communications and media relations, including for One Daytona, the $800 million mixed-use project that Atlanta-based Jacoby Development and ISC plan to develop across the street from Daytona International Speedway, said ISC spokesman Lenny Santiago.
Baumline-Robinson began working with the ad authority, which promotes Daytona Beach to tourists, in October. She also has held marketing positions with DME, Hayworth Creative and Thompson Pump.
Her first day with ISC was Monday.
