SCCA Announces 2026 Runoffs Regulations, Time Attack Challenge Registration
The SCCA has announced supplemental regulations and schedule updates for the 2026 SCCA National Championships, scheduled for September 28-October 4, at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin.
Updates include an additional qualifying session—based on driver feedback—that will see qualifying be split into three shorter sessions over two days, versus one session on each of two qualifying days. The race timeline will utilize the same event structure introduced in 2025, which is designed to minimize the amount of time racers, crew members, and volunteers spend away from work and family, while packing in all of the excitement of years past.

The SCCA has also opened registration for its Time Attack Challenge, scheduled for August 22-23, at Ridge Motorsports Park in Shelton, Washington. Spots are limited to 60 drivers.
