Racers for Christ Completes Route 66 Road Trip America
Racers For Christ (RFC) launched its inaugural Route 66 Road Trip America on March 25 with a kickoff event in Illinois, and completed the 2,500-mile journey along Route 66 in Santa Monica, California, on April 3.
The event aimed to allow the group to connect with motorsports communities while raising awareness and support for RFC's mission of serving people in racing.
Stops included Route 66 Raceway (Joliet, Illinois) and World Wide Technology Raceway (Madison, Illinois), followed by appearances at Tulsa Raceway Park (Tulsa, Oklahoma), Amarillo Dragway (Amarillo, Texas), Yearwood Performance in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Winslow's Standing on the Corner Park (Winslow, Arizona), and the In-N-Out Burger Dragstrip (Pomona, California).
The public was invited to attend stops along the route, where they could enter to win NHRA event tickets, prizes, and support the ministry through commemorative merchandise.
