What A Show It Was!

Exhibit Option Renewals for 2010 Pour In!

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Wow. Judging from the volume of racing industry buyers packing the exhibit aisles at the 2009 Performance Racing Industry Trade Show in Orlando, the racing industry is ramping up for 2010.

Coming from all 50 states, as well as more than 60 countries, racing retailers, race engine builders, motorsports engineers, professional race teams, WDs and race car builders from all segments of auto racing packed the aisles and entered the booths of 1,100 racing industry suppliers. Exhibitors took up 3,200 booths. There were 38,000 motorsports entrepreneurs in attendance—an incredible show of strength for the racing industry.

A steady stream of option renewal forms for exhibit space in the 2010 PRI Trade Show are arriving at the offices of PRI in response to the frenetic business activities that took place during the three Show days in Orlando. The 2010 PRI Trade Show will be Thursday, Friday and Saturday, December 9–11, 2010.

“The value that the PRI Trade Show delivers was particularly important this year. It’s the most cost-efficient way for suppliers and buyers to meet and do business in preparation for the next year. And, clearly, tens of thousands of racing entrepreneurs took full advantage of this opportunity of having all of the industry in one hall at one time!” exclaimed Steve Lewis, producer of the PRI Trade Show.

"We'd like to thank all the exhibitors for their ingenious innovations in racing technology, and all the creative displays,” continued Lewis. “And we'd like to thank all the buyers from across the US, and around the world, that came to the PRI Trade Show. Exhibitors remarked over and over again about the quality of the buyers at the PRI Trade Show."

Lewis and his PRI team has developed the PRI Trade Show in conjunction with the racing industry for more than two decades, providing suppliers their only opportunity to have direct contact with the all-important national distribution pipeline for racing products. Today, the Trade Show has grown to become a truly international trade marketplace for racing equipment.

The formula for the extraordinary value of exhibiting or attending the PRI Trade Show is simple but effective: There is no more cost-efficient method for suppliers and buyers to meet and do business. To introduce new product lines to virtually all the business buyers in racing, or to shop the latest advances by virtually all the industry’s suppliers, just get to Orlando for three days. Mission accomplished.

In Orlando, an individual racing industry supplier had the opportunity to do business with 38,000 potential customers. A racing industry buyer had the unique opportunity to become current with the latest racing product lines from 1,100 companies.

Opportunities for sales and profits abound. For both exhibitors and attendees, December’s PRI Trade Show delivered the kind of ROI that serves as an early Christmas present for their accountants!

Michael Parra, advertising and exhibit sales manager, said the first rush of exhibit space renewal forms included many requests for additional space in 2010. “That’s more good news for the racing industry. It’s another sign of the optimism for next year that we experienced at the PRI Trade Show,” he said.

Karin Davidson, trade show director, urged exhibitors who have not returned their option renewal forms to get them in as quickly as possible in order to reserve the strongest position possible for their needs. “We use the information on the option renewal forms for the initial layout of the 2010 PRI Trade Show,” said Davidson. Deposits of 50% of total booth fees are then due by March 20 in order to hold the exhibit space.
