Bobby Rahal to Bring Road Racing Driver Symposium To PRI Trade Show


An Indy 500 winner as both a driver and a team owner, Bobby Rahal is organizing a Road Racing Drivers Symposium to be held at this year's PRI Trade Show. It will be held from 9 a.m. to noon, Friday, December 11, in a meeting room in the North/South Building of the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

Rahal, as president of the Road Racing Drivers Club, will be the featured presenter at the Symposium, which will offer insider tips for drivers to stay on track for a successful career in road racing. Additional guest speakers Special guest speakers will share their insights on a wide variety of topics, from gaining experience to getting the right management help, public relations to exploring the various ladder systems to the top.

"We are excited to have a racing industry leader like Bobby Rahal bring such an important event to the PRI Trade Show," said John Kilroy, editor of Performance Racing Industry magazine. "There's so much to see and do at the PRI Trade Show, from the 1,200-plus exhibits of new racing technology to Bobby Rahal's symposium, attendees will surely require the full three days to take it all in."

Founded in 1952, the Road Racing Drivers Club strives to support and promote American drivers, and is focused on bringing the experience of its members in the business of racing--marketing, sponsorship, public relations--to help create the next generation of drivers, many of whom showcase their talents in SCCA road racing programs and elsewhere.
