On behalf of the Victory Junction Gang Camp, Kyle and Pattie Petty accepted a check for $21,744, raised during the 18th Annual Engine Charity Sweepstakes at the 20th PRI Trade Show. A check was presented by Performance Racing Industry Magazine Editor John Kilroy and PRI Sales Manager Alan Josse to the Pettys at the Rain Supper Club, in Daytona Beach, Florida, on February 14, 2008.
Kyle Petty accepted the check and stated his appreciation for the racing industry's support of the Victory Junction Gang Camp. "With the money presented here, we will be able to host six deserving kids at our camp," he said.
The Victory Junction Gang Camp enriches the lives of children with chronic medical conditions or serious illnesses by providing life-changing camping experiences that are exciting, fun, and empowering, in a safe and medically sound environment. The Camp was founded by Kyle and Pattie Petty, in honor of their son Adam.
