Prior to the opening of the Trade Show on Friday and Saturday, PRI hosted six complimentary business management seminars.
Friday’s lineup included “Strategies For Race Engine Builders In A Tough Economy,” presented by Carl Wegner, Wegner Motorsports; “Business/Marketing 101 For Racers,” presented by John Doonan, Jim Jordan and Dean Case, MazdaSpeed; “Tips For Managing A Race Company’s Website,” presented by Trey Piccard, Race Host.
Saturday’s schedule consisted of “Social Media Marketing For A Racing Business,” presented by Gene Cottingham and Ruthie Forbes, GRand Solutions; “Opportunities In The Legends Market,” presented by Michael Harper, Speedway Legends; “Inside The Heat Treating Process,” presented by Tim Steber and Don Jordan, Solar Atmospheres.
Jason Norris, Assistant Professor in the Automotive Engineering & Technology Division at Pasadena City College in Pasadena, California, attended the heat treating seminar. “I thought the seminar was very informative,” he explained. “It’s good, solid information from an application standpoint with the diversity of what they’re doing.”
In addition to the seminars organized by PRI for Friday and Saturday mornings, exhibitors offered seminars on a wide variety of technical subjects throughout the Show days.
