Dave Despain and his special guests informed and entertained an overflow crowd at last year's Grand Opening Breakfast for the Performance Racing Industry Trade Show, and he's looking to do it again in 2010. The live, special edition of his popular Wind Tunnel TV show will return as the main feature for this year's Grand Opening Breakfast.
"You don't want to miss this! Dave made us laugh and made us think. That's what makes him so great as a TV commentator on all things racing." said Steve Lewis, producer of the PRI Trade Show. "We're working with Dave now to line up the special guests. Last year's line-up was hard to beat, but we're working on some very special racing figures to be part of this year's show.
"We're going to have fun," continued Lewis.
The Grand Opening Breakfast for the 2010 PRI Trade Show will be held at 8 a.m., Thursday, December 9, 2010, the first exhibit day of the Show. The Breakfast will be held in the northwest corner of the exhibit hall. The PRI Trade Show is December 9–11, 2010, in the North/South Building of the Orange County Convention Center, in Orlando. It is the largest gathering of hardcore racing companies in the world, providing racing entrepreneurs with the unique opportunity to get absolutely current with the latest advances in racing technology from 1200 companies.
NASCAR star Ken Schrader served as guest host last year, and special guests included IndyCar star Ryan Hunter-Reay and Bob Bondurant, legendary driver and founder of the race car driving school. Irrepressible race reporter Robin Miller phoned in, as did Hunter Nickell, Speed Channel president.
Approximately 3,000 members of the racing industry attended last year, enjoying a tasty, hot breakfast. The crowd was so big that extra tables and chairs had to be set up.
There is no charge to attend the Grand Opening Breakfast. Lewis urged members of the racing industry to preregister and receive their credentials in the mail before they depart to Orlando. Click here to register for your Show credentials, or call 949/499-5413.
