In her new role, Sydney Davis Yagel will focus on assisting the VP in various operational roles including interfacing with sanctioning bodies, manufacturers, track promoters and sponsors.
SCCA Pro Racing Names New Sr. Manager Of Race Operations

Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) Pro Racing has named Sydney Davis Yagel as the senior manager of Race Operations.

Davis Yagel will focus on assisting the vice president in various operational roles including interfacing with sanctioning bodies, manufacturers, track promoters and sponsors.

She has spent the last 10 years managing events and schools at the MSR Houston road course track in Angleton, Texas. During her tenure at MSR Houston, Davis Yagel also held positions as the Circuit of The Americas (COTA) Motorsports Operations Marshal Coordinator and as the Houston and Louisiana Grand Prix Race Chair.
 
"I am very pleased that Sydney has accepted the position of senior manager of Race Operations for SCCA Pro Racing here in Indianapolis," SCCA Pro Racing Vice President Steve Oseth said. "Sydney’s varied background and passion will be a big asset for our Indy office."
 
Davis Yagel, a 26-year member of the SCCA, has served as the Houston Race Chairman for 10 years. She then went to serve as the Houston Region’s SCCA Regional Executive. Davis Yagel was awarded Worker of the Year for her efforts in race administration and also received SCCA Member of Excellence in 2016.
 
“I am very excited to join the SCCA Pro Racing team. After a lifetime of being involved with the SCCA, this is the ideal next chapter of my career. I can’t wait to start this adventure, and I'm looking forward to hit the ground running,” Davis Yagel said.
