British engine supplier Cosworth has instructed UBS to find a new buyer after plans to take the company public were scuttled, according to a number of news outlets.

The company, currently owned by former Champ Car owners Gerry Forsythe and Kevin Kalkhoven, supplies Formula 1 engines to the HRT and Marussia teams.
