Two tripleheader NASCAR weekends will return to the track next year. For the third straight year, the track is offering fans discounted tickets for NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races as a part of its three-tier pricing program, as long as the fans commit to the track early.

The raceway will further memorialize its iconic oak tree, which fell this summer after serving as a prominent feature and welcome shade provider to the track’s south end for more than 200 years. VIR is working with Virginia Tech University IALR to actually clone the tree.
