In celebration of the 40th anniversary of his record-setting fourth Indianapolis 500 win, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum will present a once-in-a-lifetime exhibit honoring auto racing icon A.J. Foyt, running April 14 through October 31.

The third Hot Rodders of Tomorrow (HROT) Engine Challenge event of the 2017 season was held at Tarrant County College in Fort Worth, Texas last weekend. Two teams of high school students qualified for the Dual National Championship that will take place later in the year.

IndyCar has released new images of the universal aerodynamic bodywork kit that will be used by all competitors in 2018. Although not finalized, the computer-generated images provide more detail than concept sketches released in January.

Schmidt Peterson Motorsports co-owner Sam Schmidt has been announced as part of Southern Nevada Sports Hall of Fame’s 2017 class. Schmidt’s recent endeavors include becoming the first individual to ever receive a semi-autonomous driver’s license.
