Over the years, 209 motorsports luminaries have been inducted into the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America. The 99-person nominating panel itself reads like a who’s who of racing, including names like Mario Andretti, Don Garlits, Craig Breedlove and Richard Petty.

Dale Jarrett had started racing in Busch Series in 1982 before moving up to Cup in 1984. After driving for various teams in both series over the next seven years, he suddenly was a driver without a Cup ride as the 1990 season unfolded.

The Bondurant School has been named the preferred driving school of IMSA. The school will provide the official safety car drivers for the TUDOR Championship, which debuted this past weekend with the 52nd Rolex 24 At Daytona.

The Motorsports Hall of Fame of America has announced that it will move its operations and collection of historic racing machines and memorabilia from the Detroit area to the "World Center of Racing,” Daytona International Speedway by January 2016.
