A group of special drivers representing multiple forms of professional motorsports is elected each year by AARWBA. The association’s members vote on drivers within their participating categories of racing and the top two from each discipline are elected to the first team.

In 2014, the Le Mans 24-Hours circuit has become the world center for driver extrication from his car after a race accident. Thus, for the first time last weekend the 24-Hours circuit welcomed 200 specialists from 45 countries.

Unveiled in the pit lane at the Jerez Circuit, the RB10 is powered by a turbocharged Renault Energy 1.6-liter V-6 engine paired with an Energy Recovery System. Due to the new regulations, the RB10 has little in common with its predecessors.

Over the years, 209 motorsports luminaries have been inducted into the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America. The 99-person nominating panel itself reads like a who’s who of racing, including names like Mario Andretti, Don Garlits, Craig Breedlove and Richard Petty.
